Last Saturday (2nd June 2007) I went to Rewind at Zinc nightclub in Southend to record some video footage of Nathan their guest performer for the event. I have to admit I didn't know much (anything) about him so I checked out his myspace and he seemed pretty cool, though not really my taste in music.. maybe a bit to much rnb involved. A few hours before the event I had a call from the event promoter (Matt Millitant of Firevoice) informing me that Nathan had pulled out due to family issues and now JME (of Boy Better Know, Roll Deep fame) would be taking his place.
I arrived about 11, and as usual Rewind was just filling up with good crowd, by the time the live acts came on and a few photos later JME took to the stage with MC Skepta
and performed his trademark tracks. Here are a few photos from the
