Following on from the success of last year’s festival, Leigh Regatta 2015 is shaping up to be even more spectacular.

Leigh-on-Sea Lions Club will be working together with the Licensed Establishments and Scout Troops based in Old Leigh, The Lower Thames Rowing Club, Leigh Town Council, Southend-on-Sea Borough Council and members from the Leigh Folk Festival Association and The Hoy at Anchor Folk Club to ensure yet another smashing success for Leigh Regatta 2015.

As usual the High Street will be closed to make way for all of the fantastic entertainment lined up for you at Old Leigh. In addition to the usual activities (typically involving water and mud!), organisers of Leigh Regatta 2015 are encouraging voluntary groups and those engaged in local arts and crafts to participate, free of charge - especially if there is any connection with maritime or fishing activities.
