Make sure not to miss the Southend SummerCare Carnival Procession 2015 along the seafront this August, featuring over 60 floats and acts this is one of the largest in the country, attracting approximately 20,000 people to Southend seafront! Wave your flags and blow your whistles to the dazzling glow of the carnival procession on a Summer’s evening as the colourful floats, acts, dancers, bands and amazing costumes make their way along the seafront.

Viewing the Southend Carnival Procession is of course free, but you will be asked to donate loose change to those collecting with buckets.

Southend-based care provider, SummerCare, who support the Southend Carnival, are hosting an Accessible Viewing Area on City Beach. This gives those with disabilities the opportunity to watch the procession from a secure environment on the raised platform closed off from the general public, but still get the full carnival procession experience.
