Get ice skating this Christmas in Southend’s open-air real ice rink!

The Forum’s Big Screen provides a stunning backdrop for Southend’s Christmas ice rink for Skating-on-Sea.

Fun Skate Penguins are also available to hire at £5 on a first come first served basis (there are 6 available at the rink). Fun Skate Penguins are designed as a fun addition to the ice rink for children under 10, and are not to be treated as an aid.

    • Weekdays before 5pm
    • Weekends before 1pm
  • 14th December - 3rd January: Everyday 10am to 12pm.

Free skate hire is included in the admission price and ice skating sessions last an hour (including the time to fit your skates).

Sessions start on the hour, but please aim to arrive 20 minutes before your chosen session.

Trained ice stewards will ensure that the ice rink is safe at all times. The ice rink is fully accessible to wheelchair users, but please be sure to book in advance.

Tickets are non-refundable.
