Our favourite FREE TO ENTER folk festival, in its 26th year!

Leigh Folk Festival is the largest free folk festival in the country. The streets of Old Leigh come alive under the Summer sun, as they become populated with over 200 artists and performers and over 20,000 attendees – with plenty to do for the whole family and a cosy village fête atmosphere! Leigh Folk Festival is located just off of Leigh-on-Sea beach so there’s even swimming (or mud wrestling!) to enjoy when you want to take a break from the great music performed across over 20 different venues and stages. There will be a mix of storytelling, poetry, local food, real ale, games, dance, family fun, and festival procession.

Lots of folk-style entertainment especially for children, including storytelling, face-painting, and games!
