Marcus Baum are holding a Swab and Awareness Party/Fundraiser called Swabfest, in aid of Delete Blood Cancer UK.
Someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer every 18 minutes. Every 10 minutes, someone somewhere in the world dies to blood cancer. All it takes to save a life is a 5 second mouth swab, involving nothing more than a cotton bud on the inside of your cheek. By swabbing your cheek, you can get yourself on the Stem Cell Donor Register to help cure blood cancers such as Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma.
There’ll be some great entertainment at Swabfest with live music, prizes and more! All to raise awareness about blood cancer.
