Astro City are pleased to announce that they will be hosting the qualifying event for the StreetPass UK Pokémon Tournament: Autumn Championship 2014!
This is the third Pokémon tournament hosted by Astro City. Like the last one, this will be a Single Elimination Doubles Tournament and all Pokémon shall be permitted so long as they are not of the legendary/special category.

Rules:
The following rules are a guidelines of a rules based on, but not strictly following, the official VGC ruleset for 2014.
- 6 Pokémon can be rotated
- 4 Pokémon permitted per battle
- All Pokémon flat leveled to Lv. 50
- Special Pokémon are BANNED (Full list of banned Pokémon listed at the bottom of this page)
- Same Pokémon are BANNED
- Same items are BANNED
- Handicap is set to OFF

- During a match, if a player’s final Pokémon has used the move Selfdestruct, Explosion, Destiny Bond or Final Gambit and both players’ Pokémon have fainted as a result then the player who the used the move last will lose the match.
- During a match, if a player’s final Pokémon uses Double Edge, Volt Tackle, Flare Blitz, Take Down, Submission, Brave Bird, Wood Hammer, Head Smash, Struggle, Head Charge or Wild Charge and both players faint as a result then the player who used said move will be designated as the winner. This also applies if the item Life Orb is being held.
- During a match, if both players’ final Pokémon faint due to the effect of Perish Song or a weather condition such as Hail or Sandstorm, then the player whose Pokémon fainted last will be designated as the winner.
- During a match, if a Pokémon with an ability such as Rough Skin, Aftermath, Liquid Ooze or Iron Barbs causes each player’s final Pokémon to faint, then the player with Pokémon and said ability will be designated the winner. This also applies to items such as Rocky Helmet.
Registration starts at 1pm, but the event itself won’t start until 2pm.
£3 is required to take part in this qualifying event; the entry fee will then go toward paying the bills so that Astro City is able to hold more events in the future.

Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mew, Mewtwo, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latias, Latios, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Coballion, Terrakion, Virizion, Tornadus, Thundurus, Reshiram, Zekrom, Landorus, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Diancie.
Event Pokémon are Pokémon obtained via Mystery Gift or other means, these are offered as promotional Pokémon and are banned. All Pokémon entered must be caught or bred in-game.
