Love Southend are very happy EXCITED to announce that we are finalists in the Essex Digital Awards 2015!

We are actually finalists in two different awards categories: Blog – Entertainment and  Website: Tourism & Hospitality!

How cool is that?!!

I was checking our email this morning, and this was the first thing I saw:

Essex Digital Awards 2015 Finalist

Love Southend begun as a small non-profit project in February 2014 (we’re just over a year old!), aimed to promote local news, businesses and events in Southend and give the Southend community a platform to share information with others. We’ve never received any awards, or been finalists for any awards, before so this is all very exciting!

What are the Essex Digital Awards?

2015 marks the second year of the Essex Digital Awards (to think that we weren’t even in existence in time for their first one….), and apparently they received 4x the number of entries that they did in 2014! The aim of the Essex Digital Awards is to reward businesses and websites within Essex for their digital presence and performance, and celebrate Essex’s ability to design and develop for the modern, digital age!
