DESCRIPTION:Click here for details on Christmas Lights Switch On 2016!\nOLD:\nThe Southend Christmas Lights Switch On is a whole day packed with festive entertainment to get you in the mood for Christmas\, with the Big Christmas Lights Switch On toward the end\, finally finishing with fireworks… And don’t forget the ice rink outside of The Forum\, just off the High Street! \n8:30AM – 6:30PM on Southend High Street:\n\nChristmas Farmers Market and Craft Market\n\n  \nFrom 2PM on Southend High Street (Victoria Circus):\nThe “warm-up” will be presented by Dom Atkins and feature Britain’s Got Talent’s Gabz. \nElsa from Frozen will be around to teach everyone a dance to the modern Christmas classic “Let It Go”. \nThere will also be performances from local 14 year old singer\, Arianna\, and entertainment from Matt Linen\, The Avenue\, Dance Dimensions and Jessica Alice running up to The Big Switch On with Martin and Su from Heart Essex. As well as Hollie Barrie from The Voice. \nThe Ugly Sisters from this year’s panto and Father Christmas from Adventure Wonderland’s Grotto will be joining the Mayor for the Christmas lights switch on. \n11AM – 3PM outside The Royals shopping Centre:\n\nLive reindeer\nFun and games with the Little Royalty team\nLots of prizes to be won\nFree Christmas face painting\nCinderella-themed arts and crafts workshop with Cliffs Pavilion’s Cinderella pantomime promotional team\n\n  \n6PM on Southend High Street (Victoria Circus):\n\nThe Big Christmas Lights Switch On!!\n\n  \n7:30PM on the seafront:\n\nFirework finale!
