Southend Art Club’s Autumn Exhibition
The Autumn Exhibition will be opened on the the Thursday evening by Southend Mayor, Councillor Chris Walker. The show will follow the same format as the Spring Exhibition, with complimentary drinks for members and guests from 7:30pm.
Members are allowed to enter four painting in the exhibition, with an optional 5th painting for a fee of £1, which will be displayed at the earliest opportunity and up to four unframed portfolio paintings may be presented for inclusion in the browsers.

- The Jack Millington Award for Best Flora and Fauna
- Tabor Cup for Butlers Farm and its Environs
- SAC Award for Best Drawing
- SAC Award for Best Acrylic
- Peter Mortimer Award for Best Watercolour
- Val Payne Award for Best Oil
- Joan Goldspink Award for Best in Show
Southend Art Club are particularly keen to encourage new members or members who have never shown their pictures at an exhibition before this year, and are hoping that this Autumn Exhibition of Paintings will be the biggest and best one yet!
