DESCRIPTION:Santa’s Christmas Parade on Southend High Street!\nIt’s going to be a magical day that will really get everyone into the Christmas spirit! Bigger and better than ever before\, this year’s Santa’s Parade 2014 is going to be packed with fun activities for all the family all the way up and down the high street. As well as all of the Christmas Parade activities listed below\, there will be also be an assortment of street performers roaming around the High Street throughout the day\, so make sure to look out for them! \nSanta’s Christmas Parade\nSanta’s Christmas Parade will start from Royal Square this year\, making its way to the top of the High Street where Odeon Cinema is. Santa will of course with his reindeer be making an appearance as the Christmas Parade’s special guest. There will also be processional bands playing and this year’s Cliffs Pavilion Christmas Pantomime\, Peter Pan\,  will be contributing Captain Hook’s Galleon Ship as well as Shanty dancers\, Red Indians and the giant crocodile with a clock in its belly! There will also be a “Royals float”\, which will be carrying Royal Family lookalikes\, including: Her Majesty The Queen\, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. As well as all sorts of other fantastic Christmas Parade performances by dance schools and local community groups! \n\nStarts at 4:30pm from Royal Square – but come early as there are tonnes of Christmas activities on the High Street throughout the day!\n\nSanta’s Reindeer\nIt’s not really a Christmas Parade without real-life reindeer! So don’t forget to come along and say hello to six of Santa’s favourite reindeer. \n\nRoyal Square: 1pm – 4pm\n\nChristmas Face Painting\nWhether you find yourself up one end of the High Street or the other\, both the Victoria Shopping Centre and the Royals Shopping Centre will have Christmas Face Painting where kids can get their face painted for free! \n\nThe Victoria Shopping Centre: 12pm – 2pm\nThe Royals Shopping Centre: 12pm – 2pm\n\nLantern Making Workshop\nKids can come try their hand at making their very own unique Christmas lantern to hold up during the Christmas Parade as it passes by! A wonderfully festive arts and crafts activity as part of the Little Royalty Team. \n\nThe Royals Shopping Centre: 12pm – 2pm\n\nChristmas Arts and Crafts Workshop\nLots of fun Christmas arts and crafts activities for the family! \n\nThe Victoria Shopping Centre: 12pm – 2pm\n\nAlibarmy\nAlibarmy the children’s entertainer will be hosting a fun kids show with magic\, balloon animals and other fun fun activities! \n\nOutside of Boots at The Royals Shopping Centre: 12pm – 2pm\n\nBrazil Arte\nBrazil Arte will be holding a drumming workshop ahead of the Brazil Arte drumming performance that they will be doing for the Christmas Parade. \n\nThe Royals Shopping Centre: 2pm – 4pm\n\nMeet the Royal Family Lookalikes\nThe best Royal Family lookalikes in the country\, including the Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be there for all your selfies and photo-taking! Complete with their Royal Carriage and Comedy Royal Footmen. Don’t forget your cameras! \n\nDebenham’s Entrance to the Royals Shopping Centre: 2.30pm – 4pm\n\nThe Christmas Carol-oke\nAnd finally\, once the Christmas Parade has reached the Victoria Circus from the Royal Square\, there will be a Christmas Carol-oke as the festive grand finale of the day! Once everyone’s had a good chat with Santa to see whether they’ve been naughty or nice during 2014\, there will be a good old-fashioned Christmas Carol singalong! \n\nVictoria Circus: 5pm (when the Christmas Parade has arrived at the Victoria Circus)\n\nCheck out last year’s Christmas-on-Sea Christmas Parade!\nThis year’s is planned to BIGGER and BETTER! \n \nFeatured on Southend Christmas Events 2014!
