Celebrate Southend’s Purple Flag Award!
Celebrating Southend-on-Sea’s Purple Flag award with an entire day of music throughout Southend for the second annual Purple Festival. Only a handful of locations in the country have been awarded the Purple Flag, and being able to fly the Purple Flag means that Southend has been recognised as a safe location for a great night out! So what better way to celebrate the award than by hosting a music festival with over 50 live acts throughout Southend town - both inside pubs and outdoors in various central locations. Plus fireworks in the evening!
