DESCRIPTION:NOTICE: The Leigh Regatta is back on!\nHaving previously been cancelled due to a lack of volunteers\, the Leigh Regatta is now back on with the help of The Leigh-on-Sea Lions Club who are now running the event.\n \nLeigh Regatta 2014\nThe Leigh Regatta in Leigh-on-Sea is an annual charity event organised by the three Scout/Explorers groups based in the Old Town. Each year\, the event raises money for an additional nominated charity as well as for the local Scout  groups around Southend-on-Sea. \nThis year it will be run by the Leigh-on-Sea Lions Club. They invite any local charities or recognised voluntary groups to participate with a free stall. They are not accepting commercial traders or food vendors on the day. Applicants must provide full liability insurance and risk assessments covering their activity. Closing data for application is 31st August 2014.
