The 2014 Essex Poetry Festival will be held at The Forum, Southend-on-Sea.
The event will feature poetry and spoken word performances by:
Anne-Marie Fyfe - Poet, Creative Writing teacher, arts organiser and former Chair of the Poetry Society (2006-2009)
Anne-Marie Fyfe will be presenting her latest collection, Understudies: New and Selected Poems (Seren Books, 2010) bringing together poems from her first three collections Late Crossing (1999), Tickets from a Blank Window (2002) and The Ghost Twin (2005) - allong with excitingly strange new poems.
Mervyn Linford
Mervyn Linford has been writing poetry for over three decades, with over 7 collections of poetry and 8 books of prose. His recent books include Dawn’s Tinder Box and The Dengie Diaries.
Ray Morgan - Creative Producer for Sundown Arts
Ray Morgan is a creative producer for Sundown Arts, curating spoken word, music and comedy events. She has performed her poetry on BBC Radio 1 and at many venues and festivals.
